This is copy/pasted from my lj, from January 15th, 2010.
The head is coming along, slowly but surely! ^_^ Still fiddling with parts, but I figured it was time for some more photos.
I actually gathered the balls to put him on a body and actually let him take the tension from the S-hook for like, the five seconds it took to take these pics. It was a bit scary, but he held up really well! I just really needed to test the S-hook mechanism I made, and his mobility. I tweaked it a little more after I took these pics.
The headcap and the inside of the head are almost finished. Always, always more sanding...!!! >.< After taking these pics, I also started making the holes for the magnets - one is finished, the other one is almost finished. And I'm adding these little notches on the side, kind of a last minute idea. Tony came up with that, because he thinks of stuff like that. ;3
I started with layering the primer onto the head as well (after these pics). I test-sanded one layer. Interesting! It'll take quite a while and elbow grease to get everything even and smooth, I'm sure. *SIGH*

That was it for that one. ^^;
